PicaLook is a blogging platform for visual, story-first writing. Every writer here runs a personal blog: a profile page that doubles as a curated hub, categories that organise their posts, and an RSS feed readers can follow.
How PicaLook works
- Invite-only. Writers join by invitation, so every blog on PicaLook is run by a person who chose to publish here.
- Pictures first. Stories open with a full-width cover photo when they have one. Text-only posts get a colourful typographic cover instead, so nothing looks unfinished.
- Read your way. Browse by writer, by category inside a blog, or by topic across the whole site.
- Moderated comments. Anyone can reply to a story with just a name. Comments are reviewed before they appear.
Reading on PicaLook
Stories are written in each writer’s own language, and many of them are in Vietnamese. There is no account to create and nothing to sign up for: open a story and read. To get new posts as they are published, follow the site-wide RSS feed or the feed on any writer’s profile.
